The staff and food were lovely for us. Being short walk from Tavern on The Tye was nice, we had dinner there. Bed was comfortable, like a cloud. Moreover, free WiFi was great.

Decent base for exploring Alfriston. Magnificent position along with helpful staff are the reasons we liked it. We stayed here for weekend in the standard king room with a heating system, an electronic key card and a study table. Not far from the downtown, 5 minutes on foot.
The property needs a little tlc.
